System/Network Engineer 

LOCATION: 
US Region

CATEGORY: Exempt, Full-Time, 100% On-site.

JOB FUNCTION:

  • Manage infrastructure operations in all data centers and POD Rooms.
  • Travel may be required.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design, deploy, and maintain cluster networks across all data centers and POD Rooms in the North America region. (including power, cooling environment)
  • Standardize network design and improvements.
  • Firewall and policy management
  • Construction management
  • Switch VLAN and ACL management
  • Asset Management
  • Global Level 2 network incident support and response for Level Service Operation

EDUCATION:

  • BA/BS in Information Management, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or other related fields are required.

EXPERIENCE:

  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in network technology, with a proven track record in both network design/implementation and complex troubleshooting. Data center experience preferred.
  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience with Linux systems, with an understanding of networking.
  • Hands-on experience with layer 2 and layer 3 switches. Cisco background is a plus.
  • 3 years of hands-on Application firewall experience, with an understanding of NAT; Palo Alto firewall is a plus
  • Data center experience preferred.
