Job Title: NPI Engineer (PCBA/System Integration)

About the job:  

FULL-TIME/PERMANENT  

JOB FUNCTION: As a NPI Engineer you will provide support and technical guidance or assessment in new product/process development programs. You will be working with printed circuit boards (PCBA) and Surface Mount Technology (SMT) equipment in an electronic-manufacturing setting.  The candidate will also provide technical support in System assembly.  Our ideal NPI Engineer will be able to effectively collaborate with fellow engineers, our business partners, and production line. 

QUALIFICATIONS:  

EDUCATION: B.S. in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or related field, M.S./M.B.A in Engineering or related is a plus. 

EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 3 years of engineering experience.  Experience in the electronic manufacturing is a plus.   

LANGUAGE: English proficiency required, Mandarin or Vietnamese is a plus. 

SKILLS: 

• Strong analytical skills 

• Excellent communication and collaborative skills 

• Strong knowledge of manufacturing process 

• Microsoft Office (Word & Excel) 

• Knowledge of Agile is preferred 

• Knowledge of Valor DFM is preferred 

• Knowledge of NPI process is a plus 

• IPC training – industry requirement 

• Knowledge in AutoCad or Solid Works 

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Provide technical guidance or assessment in PCBA, SMT equipment and mechanical assembly 

• Prepare engineering documentation to production and support proto build 

• Act as the primary interface to customer on engineering related issues 

• Determine of influence manufacturing costs and make recommendations for Production (DFX, DFM) 

• Design and order tooling/fixtures for assembly process during proto-type stage 

• Lead the effort in product transfer among our worldwide facilities 

• Participate in advance technology development
