Position Summary
The Quotation Specialist handles and processes product cost estimate requests for Initial Production Introduction and routine monthly or quarterly quotation roll up. Quotation Specialists are responsible for providing and calculating accurate pricing and availability to customers. It is essential to communicate with oversea (Asia and Mexico) commodity team and customer (Asia and US) to collect components and utilization rate to complete the tasks. All completed pricing will be routed through Program Management for approval. Candidates must have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, a positive attitude, and the willingness and desire to learn new skills. This position reports directly to the Business Program Manager.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide support, process quotation estimates, and final pricing within required lead time.
- Communicate with customers on pricing and terms given by the Business team.
- Calculates special pricing using internal guidelines.
- Provides accurate pricing and lead time on quote requests. Keep track of historical data for cross check and analysis.
- Prepare and deliver accurate, timely weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports in accordance with client requirements.
- Routine interactions with internal commodity team and customer to obtain most up to day pricing (MOQ, LT, Terms, and etc.).
- Collaborate with Planning and Purchasing teams to optimize PO placement and manage price variance in alignment with material demand and lead time fluctuations.
- Understanding pricing trend on electronic components, learn manufacturing process for equipment utilization, providing purchasing price variance analysis.
- Set up pricing modeling, depreciation schedule, financing options, and P/L impact.
- Communicate with management in regard to processes, policies, and procedures.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 4-year college degree or equivalent (required)
- Minimum 2 years experience in electronic manufacturing field.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
- Excellent communication skills; both verbal and in writing
- Superior organizational skills with attention to detail
- Experience with working with customers a plus
