Job Summary:
The Order Management Specialist is responsible for managing and coordinating repair and service work orders within a manufacturing environment. This role ensures accurate order creation in SAP, supports production workflow, and provides timely updates to customers and internal teams to maintain efficient operations and on-time delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create, enter, and manage work orders in SAP for incoming repair and service requests
- Review work order details for accuracy, including part numbers, serial numbers, and service requirements
- Coordinate work order flow through production, repair, and quality departments
- Monitor order progress and update status in SAP throughout the repair lifecycle
- Communicate with customers regarding order status, turnaround times, and any issues or delays
- Collaborate with production, materials, and quality teams to ensure timely completion of work orders
- Track priorities, expedite urgent jobs, and resolve workflow bottlenecks
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with company processes and standards
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 2+ years of experience in manufacturing coordination, work order management, or similar role
- Strong attention to details and accuracy in data entry
- Experience using SAP Advantage or similar ERP systems
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple work orders simultaneously
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong computer skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, production-driven environment
- Experience in a manufacturing repair or electronics environment
- Familiarity with production scheduling, RMA processes, or service workflows
- Basic understanding of manufacturing operations or electronic components
