The IT Project Manager is a highly motivated and results-oriented professional who understands how to lead and coordinate complex, multi-faceted IT projects. The role requires working effectively in cross-functional teams, ensuring successful project execution from initiation through completion.
- Conduct regular and effective management and on-site meetings for construction-related IT projects.
- Work collaboratively in cross-functional teams on IT projects, including SAP, SFC integrations, new production line builds, and other IT solutions.
- Accept, analyze, and incorporate customer requirements into project planning and execution.
- Create and manage the full lifecycle of IT and sustaining projects.
- Oversee and sustain smooth project implementation and delivery.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, tracking milestones and updating statuses.
- Maintain proactive and continuous communication with users and project team members throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure that the implemented solution or service meets user requirements and expectations.
- Provide users with detailed feedback on root causes when issues arise.
- Perform risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to minimize project risks.
- Resolve issues and coordinate necessary resources to overcome project obstacles.
- Escalate major issues or roadblocks to senior management as needed during the project lifecycle.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 10+ experience
- Excellent customer support and service orientation.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to engage effectively with cross-functional teams, including Business, Manufacturing, R&D, IT, Developers, and DBAs.
- Advanced problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities, with sound judgment under pressure.
- Proven ability to manage project scope, ensuring all changes are documented and approved using change request forms.
- Strong analytical thinking with the ability to define project specifics, develop plans, and adhere to schedules.
- Ability to perform under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Maintain a Project Tracking Record for all ongoing and completed projects.
