SRE Developer (G-Project)

Houston, TX - Full Time

Key Responsibilities

  • Support and maintain production systems to ensure high availability and performance

  • Assist in designing, implementing, and improving systems and processes

  • Provide user support, training, and system issue tracking

  • Learn and support Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and production workflows

  • Help design and implement control systems to minimize production issues and costs

  • Customize MES tools to align with business and production requirements

  • Administer and support production-related applications

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve system inefficiencies

Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Associate’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience

  • 0–3 years of relevant experience in IT, systems support, or software development

  • Exposure to Python or another programming language preferred

  • Basic understanding of software development or system support tools and techniques

  • Familiarity with databases is a plus

  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities with attention to detail

  • Self-motivated, hands-on, and results-oriented with the ability to learn quickly

  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) for cross-functional collaboration

  • Ability to clearly convey technical concepts and instructions

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Project)

  • Strong organizational and time management skills
