Position Summary We are seeking a dependable and organized IE Manufacturing Technician to support production operations by managing inventory, ordering supplies, and assembling production equipment and workstations. This role is responsible for maintaining the tool crib, ensuring materials and equipment are available when needed, and supporting efficient production setup and workflow. Key Responsibilities
Maintain organization and inventory accuracy within the tool crib and storage areas
Order tools, parts, supplies, and consumable materials required for production operations
Track inventory levels and maintain appropriate stock quantities
Receive, inspect, label, and stock incoming materials and equipment
Assemble production tables, workstations, racks, carts, and other work equipment as needed
Coordinate with production, maintenance, and engineering teams to support operational needs
Issue and track tools, equipment, and supplies to employees and departments
Maintain records of inventory usage, purchase orders, and equipment assignments
Perform routine inspections of tools and equipment to ensure proper condition and functionality
Support workplace organization and 5S initiatives
Assist with moving, installing, or reconfiguring production equipment and work areas
Follow company safety procedures and maintain a clean, safe work environment
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, tool crib management, or manufacturing support preferred
Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to assemble equipment using hand and power tools
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to operate basic computer systems and inventory software
Good communication and teamwork skills
Ability to lift and move materials and equipment as required
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with purchasing or supply ordering processes
Familiarity with manufacturing or industrial environments
Forklift certification or material handling experience
Knowledge of 5S, lean manufacturing, or inventory management practices
Experience using ERP or inventory tracking systems
Work Environment
Manufacturing plant or warehouse environment
Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and material handling
May involve use of hand tools, power tools, ladders, and material handling equipment
Exposure to production equipment and industrial noise levels
