Main Function:
  • Production Support:
    The Production Support Technician is responsible for the proper operation of designated production processes. They must apply the knowledge acquired through training and hands-on experience to operate the process and, if necessary, manage production equipment.
    They are also responsible for accurately recording results, downtime, and other events that occur during the shift.  Additionally, they must participate in teams responsible for developing corrective actions.
  • Engineering Systems and IT Tools:
The Production Support Technician is responsible for supporting and maintaining engineering systems and IT tools used throughout various production phases. They must also participate in setting up new data recording systems or modifying existing infrastructures.

    As a member of the engineering team, the technician strives to:

  • Ensure full satisfaction of both internal and external customers with their work
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Quality: Ensures that products are manufactured and handled properly during preparation, production, testing, failure analysis, and repair stages. Strives for the highest possible product quality.
  • Production Support: Must coordinate production steps, testing, and repair details with the production area group leader and/or direct supervisor to ensure that production plans are executed according to targets.
  • Customer Focus: Like all employees, the technician must recognize the importance of both external and internal customers and always act to produce the best product and provide the best service.
 
  • Orderliness: Ensures constant cleanliness and order for safe working conditions. This includes leaving the workplace clean at the end of each shift and paying special attention to equipment that may require specific maintenance or cleaning.
  • Maintenance: Responsible for the daily maintenance of assigned equipment within the facility. Also monitors stock levels of spare parts and consumables.
  • Reporting: Responsible for recording all relevant shift events and preparing agreed-upon reports at the end of each shift.
  • Attitude: Must maintain a positive, flexible, and cooperative attitude to help achieve production targets.
  • Work Attire: Must wear appropriate protective clothing as required by workplace regulations (e.g., ESD garments, safety glasses, earplugs, etc.).
  • Punctuality: Must report to the work area on time and in a work-ready condition before the start of the shift.
  • Overtime: May be required to work overtime in accordance with the Labor Code, as instructed by the Employer.
Scope of Authority:
  • Decision-making authority:
  1. Reports any issues to the immediate supervisor.
  • Communication authority:
    2.   Communicates with the supervisor as required.
Qualification and Experience:
  • At least one year of experience in a similar role or in CNT production
  • Secondary education (high school diploma)
  • Higher education is an advantage
Primary Skills:
  • Basic technical knowledge and aptitude for operating production equipment
  • Full understanding of the production process
  • Good communication skills at all organizational levels
  • Strong organizational skills, reliability, ability to delegate
  • Ability to prioritize and make decisions
  • Willingness to work in shifts and to perform overtime when needed
  • Positive attitude toward work, willingness and ability to work temporarily in other roles as required
  • Team player
  • Fit for shift work
