Responsibilities:
The Inventory Control Manager is responsible for maintaining and overseeing inventory, product accuracy, coordinating order fulfillment and delivery of products. This role is responsible for timely inventory updates to confirm inventory is accurate at all times. The manager will oversee the warehouse team, manage daily workflow and monitor quality of work to maximize efficiency. The Warehouse Manager contributes to overall production tracking and fleet management.
Duties included, but not limited to:
  • Develop and implement inventory control strategies to optimize stock levels and reduce discrepancies.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records across all company locations.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits, cycle counts, and reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies between physical and system inventory counts.
  • Collaborate with purchasing, warehouse, and operations teams to improve inventory processes.
  • Analyze inventory data to forecast demand and adjust stock levels accordingly.
  • Establish and enforce inventory control policies and procedures.
  • Lead initiatives to improve inventory accuracy, reduce waste, and enhance supply chain efficiency.
  • Provide training and guidance to warehouse staff on inventory control best practices.
  • Generate inventory reports and provide insights to senior management.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
  • Serve as the inventory expert and thoroughly maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Master all products and understand product naming conventions.
  • Understand procurement contracts, pricelists, and product compliance.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key vendors and suppliers.
  • Develop and update warehouse procedures for purchasing, inventory, shipment methods, and equipment utilization.
  • Complete monthly, quarterly, and annual inventory count processes and prepare required operational and financial documentation.
  • Train and manage warehouse staff to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach long term goals.
Qualifications:
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse and inventory management
  • Ability to solve problems and create innovative solutions
  • Ability to adapt to constantly changing technologies and unique inventory requirements
  • Experience with data entry and inventory reconciliation
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication skills and a high level of integrity
  • Effectively manage time and prioritize responsibilities
  • Knowledge of electrical supply or distribution industry is a plus
Physical Requirements:
  • Regularly works around moving mechanical parts and in warehouse conditions that are not always climate controlled and may include, heat and humidity.
  • Noise level may be loud at times.
  • Must be able to move objects and use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue. Constant movement and use of limbs; this position requires good manual dexterity, coordination, and stamina.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Required 3 -5 years of experience
  • Associate's degree or 2 years of technical college in business or any related field.
