Purpose of the position
Lead the equipment maintenance team to ensure the efficient and stable operation of SMT production line equipment (pick-and-place machines, printers, reflow ovens, inspection equipment, dispensing equipment). Enhance equipment utilization rates and support the factory in achieving production capacity and quality objectives through the establishment of a preventive maintenance system, technical team capability building, and cross-departmental collaboration.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Establish a comprehensive lifecycle equipment management process (evaluation and introduction preventive maintenance, spare parts inventory optimization, decommissioning and disposal);
2. Drive the implementation of equipment preventive maintenance;
3. Lead the analysis and improvement of major equipment failures and process anomalies;
4. Spearhead the introduction and optimization of automation equipment for production workstations;
5. Manage a technical team of 15-20 members (engineers/technicians), develop shift schedules, performance evaluations, and skill training systems;
6. Collaborate with production and quality departments to optimize process parameters and ensure product yield ≥99.5% and equipment downtime rate <5%;
7. Perform other duties and responsibilities as required.
Education and work experience
Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Automation, or related fields.
Work Experience:
1.Over 5 years of SMT equipment maintenance experience (including at least 3 years in team management), with familiarity with mainstream brands (FUJI, Universal, GKG, DEK, Speedline, etc.)
2. Background in consumer electronics/automotive electronics manufacturing (preferred candidates with experience at Flex, Jabil, or similar industry leaders)
Language skills:
Chinese proficiency: Candidates proficient in basic Chinese communication with Chinese teams will be given priority consideration.
Skills
1. Proficient in reading electrical schematics and mechanical drawings;
2. Familiar with equipment management software (SAP PM, Maximo) and data analysis tools (Minitab);
3. Knowledge of basic PLC programming (Siemens/Panasonic), CAD drafting, and vision systems (Keyence/Cognex) is preferred.
