Junior Quality Engineer
Foxconn is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Quality Engineer to join our Quality team. In this role, you will support product quality throughout PCBA and system-level manufacturing by working closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Suppliers, and Program Management to ensure products meet customer and quality requirements.
This position provides an excellent opportunity to develop hands-on experience into Quality Engineer, support QE to assist customer complain investigation, follow up and close corrective action, Manufacturing Quality, and New Product Introduction (NPI) within a fast-paced electronics manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, possesses strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and is passionate about continuous improvement and quality excellence.

Shift: Day / Swing 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support Customer product activities, monitoring the project investigate customer issue
  • Required to perform Product audit per customer requirement
  • Required to perform Manufacturing Audit on the monthly basis
  • ESD Monthly Audit
  • Ensure product conformity to customer requirements – Daily customer interaction
  • Participate in root cause investigations using quality tools such as 5-Why, Fishbone, 8D, and CAPA.
  • Work closely with Manufacturing, Process Engineering, Planning, Program Management, and Engineering teams to support stable production and continuous improvement
  • Support implementation of process improvements that reduce defects and improve manufacturing quality.
  • Maintain quality documentation, inspection records, and traceability documentation.
  • Support internal, customer, and supplier audits.
  • Ensure compliance with customer specifications, IPC standards, and company quality procedures.
  • Assist in preparing quality reports, presentations, and corrective action documentation.
  • Support customer quality requests and investigations as assigned.


Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 0–2 years of experience in Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Process Engineering, Supplier Quality, or electronics manufacturing (internships and co-op experience are welcomed).
  • Basic understanding of electronics manufacturing, SMT, PCBA, or system assembly processes preferred.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Internship or academic project experience in electronics manufacturing, quality, or manufacturing engineering.
  • Familiarity with SMT, PCBA, testing, or system assembly manufacturing processes.
  • Basic knowledge of quality methodologies such as 5-Why, Fishbone, 8D, CAPA, FMEA, SPC, or Control Plans.
  • Familiarity with IPC-A-610, J-STD-001, or other electronics manufacturing standards is a plus.
  • Experience supporting NPI builds or engineering validation activities is a plus.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 or quality management systems.
  • Familiarity with Minitab, Excel data analysis, or statistical tools is an advantage.
