Position Summary

The Product Engineer will serve as a key technical support resource for customer programs and internal production teams. This role ensures smooth product introduction, manufacturing readiness, and ongoing support throughout the product lifecycle. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, eager to learn, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support new product introduction (NPI) activities, including DFM/DFT review and production readiness
  • Work closely with customers, engineering teams, and production to resolve technical issues related to PCBA builds
  • Review and maintain product documentation, including BOMs, drawings, assembly files, and test requirements
  • Manage engineering change orders (ECOs) and product updates throughout the lifecycle
  • Assist in developing and improving manufacturing processes, test plans, and documentation
  • Analyze production data and feedback to identify improvement and cost-reduction opportunities
  • Support troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for production issues
  • Coordinate with material, quality, and operations teams to ensure on-time delivery and product quality

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 0–2+ years of experience in electronics manufacturing, PCBA, or related field preferred
  • Solid understanding of schematics, BOM structures, and manufacturing documentation
  • Familiarity with PCB/PCBA components and assembly processes
  • Basic knowledge of CAD/ECAD tools, ERP systems, or test equipment preferred
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and manage multiple tasks in a production environment
  • Bilingual ( Mandarin is highly preferred - coordination with overseas teams
