- Job Description
- You will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and controlling the production processes and material flow within a manufacturing environment. You will ensure that production targets are met, materials are available when needed, and costs are managed efficiently.
- Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in production planning or inventory management
- Experience in material control (preferred)
- Knowledge of ERP and SAP systems is a plus
- Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer demands and optimize factory capacity
- Coordinate with manufacturing teams to ensure that production plans align with operational goals
- Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as necessary to accommodate planned or unexpected changes
- Manage inventory levels to ensure that materials are available to meet production needs
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and components
- Conduct regular inventory audits to maintain accuracy and minimize discrepancies
- Analyze production costs and work to optimize material usage and reduce waste
- Collaborate with Procurement Teams to negotiate terms with suppliers and control material costs
- Monitor and report on production and material costs to executives
- Work closely with Production, Procurement, and Logistics Teams to ensure adherence to production schedules
- Communicate production plans, material needs, and potential issues to relevant stakeholders
