Position Summary
The Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) Specialist is responsible for planning, implementing, and overseeing all environmental, occupational health, safety, and fire protection programs in manufacturing factory. This role ensures compliance with OSHA, EPA, and applicable regulations as well as internal policies—while fostering a safe, healthy, and compliant workplace.

Position Summary
The Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) Specialist is responsible for planning, implementing, and overseeing all environmental, occupational health, safety, and fire protection programs in manufacturing factory. This role ensures compliance with OSHA, EPA, and applicable regulations as well as internal policies—while fostering a safe, healthy, and compliant workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement, maintain, and ensure EH&S programs for Electronic Manufacturing.
- Monitor changes in legislation to maintain ongoing compliance and operational readiness.
- Conduct risk assessments focused on manufacturing hazards material used.
- Lead investigations of incidents, accidents, and near-misses root cause analyses.
- Conduct safety audits, site inspections, and walk-throughs of production floors to identify issues.
- Maintain required EH&S documentation, including SDS/MSDS, incident logs, and training records.
- Maintain and ensure ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems certification compliance.
- Serve as the EH&S programs primary point of contact for corporate and regulatory angencies.
- Develop and maintain Emergency Response and Business Continuity Plans inclusive of emergency drills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chemical, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of EH&S experience in electronics manufacturing environments.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA standards, EPA regulations, and related compliance frameworks.
- Experience in hazard identification, chemical safety, and manufacturing risk mitigation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or equivalent credential.
- Knowledge and experience with ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 management systems requirements.
- Strong communication and analytical problem-solving skills.
