Purpose of the Position  
The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning and executing of development builds, including overall direction, coordination, implementation and execution to ensure timely and accurate definition of project scope, goals, and deliverables in the new product introduction phase.
The Project Manager will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and play a critical role in ensuring capability, resources, and schedules align with goals and customer demands. Skills such as assessing risks, communicating and monitoring project status, and resolving challenges are essential.
Strong leadership, problem-solving abilities, and expertise in project management are essential for success in this role. We expect excellence in communication to facilitate coordination between internal and external teams.
Duties and Responsibilities
Factory Setup & Line Qualification
  • Engage in the planning and execution of factory setup, including site preparation, equipment procurement, line qualification,n and process validation.
  • Work closely with teams to establish optimized workflows and manufacturing processes.

Production Planning & Manufacturing Executing
  • Oversee production planning and scheduling to ensure alignment with project objectives, scope, goals, resource availability, and demand forecasts.
  • Manage the NPI process and drive continuous improvements in manufacturing processes, leveraging data-driven decision-making and practices.

Cross-functional Team Coordination & Communication
  • Act as a bridge between teams to ensure seamless collaboration.
  • Lead cross-functional meetings, providing clear status updates, risks, and solutions of the project to all stakeholders.
  • Coordinate teams to resolve technical issues, ensure smooth execution of manufacturing processes, and meet expectations.
Education and Work Experience:  
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in electronic product manufacturing.
  • At least 3 years of project management experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally to communicate and resolve issues.
  • A plus is a positive attitude, resilience, and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong project management skills with experience in manufacturing environments.
  • Excellent problem-solving and risk management abilities.
  • Fluent in English. Reading/ listening skills in Chinese are nice to have.
Supervision
  • No direct reports.
Working Conditions:  
  • Office-based role, with 1-2 business trips per year.
  • May require extended hours during critical project phases.
  • Fast-paced environment with strict deadlines and production targets.
