Summary
Lead and oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory control, material handling, kitting, and shipping. Establish procedures to ensure efficient material flow and accurate inventory management. Serve internal and external customers while acting as a backup to the Materials Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily warehouse operations, including staff coordination, task delegation, and issue resolution.
- Receive incoming goods and ensure accurate transaction posting in the inventory system.
- Lead and support production kitting and manage material returns.
- Oversee and reconcile inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
- Generate and maintain inventory status and exception reports on a regular or as needed basis.
- Ensure compliance with inventory control policies, cycle counts, and physical inventory activities.
- Provide direct support for international shipments, including proper documentation and scheduling.
- Act as backup to the Materials Manager, ensuring continuity of operations during absences.
- Promote and maintain 5S, ESD handling, and warehouse safety standards.
- Motivate, train, and lead warehouse staff, fostering a high-performance and collaborative environment.
- Minimum 1 years of experience in warehouse operations, shipping/receiving, and inventory management.
- Experience in controlled environments (handling ESD and moisture-sensitive components) is preferred.
- Import/export knowledge is a plus.
- Proven leadership in supervising warehouse staff and coordinating logistics functions.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills with a service-oriented mindset.
- Detail-oriented, thorough, and capable of working independently.
- Proficient in inventory systems and standard warehouse software; ERP system knowledge is a plus.
- Familiar with safety procedures, shipping/storage best practices, and basic warehouse equipment operation (forklift experience is optional but beneficial).
- Hands-on leadership style—willing and able to work alongside warehouse team members.
Education and Experience
- Associate degree (AA) or equivalent experience required.
