ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of ORT and DPA laboratories
- Ensure all equipment is calibrated, maintained, and compliant with applicable standards
- Develop and enforce lab procedures, safety policies, and best practices
- Coordinate lab scheduling, workload planning, and resource allocation
- Design and execute ORT plans based on product requirements and industry standards
- Monitor ongoing tests (thermal cycling, vibration, humidity, etc.)
- Analyze test data to identify reliability risks, trends, and improvement opportunities
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve product robustness
- Perform and supervise destructive analysis (cross-sectioning, decapsulation, microscopy, etc.)
- Identify root causes of failures and defects
- Prepare detailed failure analysis reports with clear conclusions and corrective actions
- Support customer returns (RMA) and internal failure investigations
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (JEDEC, IPC, MIL-STD, as applicable)
- Support internal and external audits (customer and third-party)
- Maintain proper documentation, traceability, and record retention
- Drive corrective actions and ensure timely closure
- Work closely with R&D, Manufacturing, and Quality teams
- Support NPI qualification and product validation activities
- Communicate test results, risks, and findings to stakeholders
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Electronics, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in reliability testing, failure analysis, or lab management
- Hands-on experience with ORT and DPA methodologies
- Experience in electronics or semiconductor manufacturing preferred
- Knowledge of reliability standards (JEDEC, IPC, MIL-STD)
- Experience with lab and FA equipment (SEM, X-ray, optical microscopy, environmental chambers)
- Strong root cause analysis skills (8D, FMEA, Fishbone)
- Proficient in data analysis and technical reporting
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking
- Effective communication and reporting skills
- High attention to detail and accountability
- Experience in semiconductor or electronics manufacturing environments
- Familiarity with quality systems (ISO 9001, IATF 16949)
- Certification in quality or reliability engineering (CQE, CRE)
- Experience supporting customer audits (e.g., NVIDIA QPA preferred)
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Speak and write English
