Position Summary:

Foxconn is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Factory IT Operations Manager to lead our IT operations team at the Houston factory site. This role is responsible for overseeing data center operations, IT infrastructure, and cybersecurity while ensuring effective cross-functional collaboration to support business needs. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership abilities, technical depth, and a strategic mindset to drive innovation and operational efficiency across the factory IT environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership & Collaboration (25%)
    Lead and mentor the IT operations team; enhance technical capabilities and team performance. Collaborate with production and cross-functional departments to align IT systems with operational goals.
  • Infrastructure & Data Center Management (25%)
    Oversee all aspects of data center operations, including servers, storage, networking, and system performance. Ensure high availability, reliability, and scalability of IT infrastructure.
  • Information Security & Compliance (20%)
    Implement and monitor IT security policies and cybersecurity measures. Ensure compliance with industry standards and data protection regulations (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, CCPA).
  • IT Support & Incident Response (15%)
    Manage helpdesk operations, troubleshoot system issues, and resolve IT incidents to minimize downtime and maintain business continuity.
  • Technology Planning & Optimization (10%)
    Evaluate emerging technologies and lead initiatives to upgrade systems, streamline processes, and enhance overall IT performance.
  • Other Duties (5%)
    Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7–10 years of progressive experience in IT operations, including leadership roles.
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, virtualization, and cloud environments (AWS, Azure).
  • Solid knowledge of cybersecurity standards, endpoint protection, and compliance frameworks.
  • Experience with ITSM tools and best practices (e.g., ITIL, ServiceNow, Jira, Zendesk).
  • Proficiency in Windows Server, Linux, VMware, ERP/CRM systems, and databases (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL).
  • Excellent leadership, project management, and communication skills.
  • Being bilingual in English and Chinese is a plus.

Management Scope:

  • Directly supervised 2 IT team members:
  • IT Infrastructure Engineer
  • IT MES/OA Engineer
  • Responsible for planning and overseeing departmental operations, team development, and project execution.

Work Environment:

  • On-site position based in a manufacturing facility.
  • May occasionally require after-hours availability to support operations or resolve critical issues.
